VK20/VK30-VK20/VK30 Polyester Strapping Heads The new Titan VK Series of plastic strapping heads is ideal for today's high tension and high seal joint requirements in cotton, textile, lumber, brick, steel and metal product applications. The Titan VK30 offers higher tension capability and greater strap capacity for use on heavy loads such as lumber and brick. The PLC controls allow high-speed operation with flexible sequence control and adaptability into many diversified applications and head orientations. The Titan VK series features a Direct Drive System which spreads the workload out among three versatile, direct drive motors which are individually optimized to perform specific functions: High speed feed and slack strap take up; final heavy tension; sealer/cam activations.

Advantages

Powered Track Assembly -The head portion of the strap track is powered open during the tension cycle, to cleanly release the strap and seal joint onto the load being strapped.

High Tension Capability -Allows use of heavy strap for high tension applications which require stress loading of the strap (ie. induced elasticity for heavy polyester strap), resulting in superior retained tension on the product.

Heavy Duty Heater - Long life heat seal element stands up to heavy tension applications with excellent joint efficiency of the seal (up to 90%).

Electrically Powered - Quiet, clean operation with electrical quick disconnect plug.

High Speed Operation - Strap feed and take-up of up to 14ft./sec., (4.3 meters/sec.) results in fast cycle times allowing more production throughput.
